Kia Ora,

My name is Tashae Paikea. I am a 23 year old Māori born and raised on the Kaipara. Growing up, I always expressed myself through creativity; a story teller so to speak. The day I picked up a camera I discovered that taking photos was another medium to express myself and my camera roll has been full ever since.

The photography approach around the work I create is very much simplistic but also cinematically inspired. I love being able to capture special moments and adore the creative process of it. The feeling of being able to photograph memories for clients to cherish is something else.

From the moment you say “I DO” to your baby’s first breath. These moments are what keep me going. I am so blessed to be able to capture these moments for you all and can’t wait to meet more of you guys!..
